Kuber Dev Idol

Description

Significance and Astrological Perspective of Ashtadhatu Kuber Dev Idol

In Sanatan tradition, astrology, and Vastu Shastra, an Ashtadhatu idol (an alloy of eight sacred metals: gold, silver, copper, zinc, lead, tin, iron, and mercury) of Lord Kuber, the lord of wealth and treasurer of the gods, holds a very special place. The metallic energy of Ashtadhatu further intensifies Lord Kuber’s ability to attract wealth and prosperity.

Key Significance and Benefits:

Wealth Accumulation and Growth: Lord Kuber is not only the bestower of wealth but also the deity who protects and helps accumulate (save) earned wealth. Installing his idol at home or in a safe stops unnecessary expenses and increases financial growth.

Business Growth: An Ashtadhatu Kuber Dev idol is considered highly beneficial for merchants and businesspersons. It helps recover stuck money and opens doors to new financial opportunities.

Auspicious Effects of Mercury and Jupiter: According to astrology, Lord Kuber’s blessings bring favorable influences from Mercury (the planet of commerce) and Jupiter (the planet of prosperity).

Rectification of Vastu Defects: The North direction is ruled by Lord Kuber. If there is any Vastu defect in the northern area of a home or shop, placing an Ashtadhatu Kuber idol there neutralizes the negative impacts of that defect.

Guidelines for Placement and Worship:

Correct Direction: Installing the idol in the North direction of your home, shop, or office, or near your safe/cash counter, is considered most auspicious.

Day and Time: Installing Lord Kuber on Dhanteras, Diwali, or any Friday/Thursday of the month is considered ideal.

Worship Method: Offer kumkum, uncooked rice grains (akshat), and yellow flowers before the idol. Pray for wealth and prosperity while chanting the mantra “Om Kuberaya Namah” or “Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaya Dhanadhanyadhipataye Dhanadhanyasamriddhim Me Dehi Dapaya Swaha”.
