• Fulfillment of Desires and Prosperity: This Yantra is believed to bring success, peace, and both material and spiritual prosperity to life.

2. Structure (Design)

The Durga Yantra mainly consists of a central point (Bindu), triangles, lotus petals, and an outer enclosure (Bhupura). Specific Beej Mantras are often inscribed on it, such as:

• “Om Doom Durgayai Namah”

• “Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundayai Vichche”

3. Establishment and Worship Method

• Day and Time: It is considered best to establish it on auspicious days during the Shukla Paksha on Tuesday, Friday, or during Navratri.

• Direction: Place the Yantra in the Northeast (Ishan Kon) or East direction of your home or office altar.

• Purification:

  1. Bathe the Yantra (made of copper, silver, or gold plate) with holy Ganges water (Gangajal) or unboiled milk.

  2. Place it on a clean red cloth (red is very dear to Goddess Durga).

• Worship Procedure:

  • Offer incense, a lamp (diya), red flowers (such as hibiscus), and vermilion (sindoor).

  • Sit in front of the Yantra and chant the mantra “Om Doom Durgayai Namah” at least 108 times (1 rosary/mala).

Important Notes:

• Maintain cleanliness around the area after establishing the Yantra.

• If the Yantra is energized (Pran Pratishtha done), its effects are said to be even more fruitful.
