6 Mukhi rudraksh

Virtue-

The Srimad Devi Bhagavatam Purana considers the six-faced Rudraksha to signify Lord Kartikeya, while the Nirnayasindhu considers it to be Guhyasamjyaka (secret knowledge) and the Jabalopanisad considers it to be associated with Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya (both sons of Shiva). It is used in the refinement of intelligence, in increasing the efficiency of expression and in the development of will power. The goddess of glory, Mahalakshmi, is also pleased with the use of this Rudraksha. This increases speech ingenuity and the wearer can influence the public. He remains as brave as Skanda. This washes away grave sins. The holder of the six-faced Rudraksha also gets the blessings of Goddess Parvati.

The Kumara section of the Rudra Samhita states that Kartikeya is the son of Ganga and was raised by six women from infancy. Thanks to these mothers, he has six heads. Shiva had created him to kill Tarakasura and he and Parvati gave Kartikeya the knowledge of warfare, knowledge of weapons and morale and knowledge. Parvati also gave him immense wealth and happiness, along with immortality. Lakshmi gave him wealth and beautiful necklaces, while Saraswati gave him all kinds of knowledge. Kartikeya eliminated Tarakasura with a single blow of radiant power.

The holder of the six-faced Rudraksha gets health, wealth and happiness. Its regulating planet is Venus, which is the factor of pleasure, consumption, etc. For high success in education, wear it with Chaturmukhi Rudraksha.)

Its medicinal properties are as follows. It benefits the eyes, brings control over venereal diseases and is likewise beneficial in diseases of the mouth, urinary tract diseases, diseases of the throat and asthma. Childless couples use it with Gaurishankar (with Nepali bifaced Rudraksha) for childbearing. Wearing any number of Nepali or Indonesian Shatmukhi Rudraksha is claimed to remove all types of psychiatric diseases, cancer, and malfunctions of any organ. It can be worn on the right hand and also on the wrist or arm. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other faceted gifts. It is also effective on speech defects like stuttering.

This Rudraksha should be worn especially by Taurus and Libra. Virgo can also wear it.

Description of Six-faced Rudraksha in Puranas-

In the 59th chapter of the Padma Purana Srishtikhanda, the following description of the benefits of wearing the six-faced Rudraksha is found.

Tasmatsarvaprayatnen panchavaktram tu dharayet ।

Shadvaktram kartikeyam tu dharayan dakshine bhuje ।।

Bramahatyadibhih papairmuchyate natra sanshayah ।

Skandasya sadrshah shoorah kalpante samupasthite ।।

The six-faced Rudraksha is the form of Kartikeya and the one who wears it in his right arm is freed from the sins of brahma-hatya etc. At the end of the Kalpa he becomes a knight like Skanda.

Kumaratvamvapnoti yatha gourishanandan ।।

The wearer of the six-faced Rudraksha is never defeated, he loses the shape of virtues. He attains the honorary virginity of Gaurish Nandan.
